Refurbishment Process




Dismantling

Gearboxes are dismantled using the latest hydraulic press equipment.


Cleaning

All gear internals are cleaned by high-pressure washing to remove old oil contamination and sediment.



Inspection

Gears are checked for hardness, and profiles measured on-machine for matching parts. Casing bores and centre distances are verified in matched pairs using KISSsoft software.


Reporting

A detailed inspection report is submitted to the customer for joint inspection before any work proceeds.



Manufacturing

Once the P.O. is confirmed for components to be replaced, required spares are manufactured using state-of-the-art machinery.


Trial Running

Vibration, noise, temperature and oil leakage are checked during trial running before hand-back.
